The fund seeks to earn income while preserving capital through an actively-managed portfolio of primarily investment-grade US corporate bonds. The funds selection universe of such issues is formed using fundamental credit research and quantitative screens by the portfolio manager. Such universe are divided into five term groupings of bonds maturing from 0-1.49 years, 1.5-2.49 years, 2.5-3.49 years, 3.5-4.49 years, and 4.5-5.5 years.
