Dear Wisesheets User,

Before you sign in, we want to be transparent about the permissions Wisesheets asks for and what they mean.

When you install the add-in for the first time, Google will show a pop-up asking you to allow certain actions. While the wording may seem alarming, these permissions are required for Wisesheets to function properly inside Google Sheets. Here is what they actually mean:

View and manage spreadsheets this application has been installed in: Wisesheets can only update spreadsheets where the add-on is installed. We do not read or store your spreadsheet data.

Display and run third-party content in prompts and sidebars: This allows the Wisesheets interface to appear inside Google Sheets.

Connect to an external service: Needed so we can retrieve financial data for you.

Allow this application to run when you are not present: Lets Wisesheets finish any action you start, even if you switch tabs.

See your email address and basic public info: Used only to verify your account and subscription.

At Wisesheets, we only perform actions you request, and your privacy is our priority. We never access data from your spreadsheets beyond what is necessary to update them when you ask us to.
