Up to 20% of its net assets may also be invested in equity securities issued by U.S. and other non-Latin American entities, as well as in various fixed-income securities, which can include high-yield or "junk" bonds rated BB/Ba or lower. A smaller portion, specifically up to 10% of net assets, can be directed towards even more speculative debt instruments rated B or below. The fund operates as a non-diversified portfolio.
